                                                                                                                %

The writers visited the Engineering Office in Detroit for the purpose
of meeting with en gineering laboratory personnel to discuss on-going support
to engineer in and future areas of new support.

Monday morning, July 29, a meeting was held with Mr. Wallace in the
Vehicle Performance Group to dis cuss road load C D rformance curves for a
!C’ body vehicle for simulating en gme output during the warm- up period for
our rapid heat program. Also dis cuss C D CL were the intermittant front wheel
drive power requirements and race car measurement requirement.

Monday afternoon, we met with Mr. W. N. Scott and R. N Franz of
the Sound and Vibration Laborator Mr. Martin reviewed our CHO capa-

previou cn cn pace oriented experience.

Mr. Scott seemed interested in our math modeling capabilities and
asked if we would propose on a vehicle floor pan math model for a ’C' body
car. They will prepare a prop O co (D T5 wor scope and forward it to us for
                  review and proposal drafting.
