Race Group Radio Communications

Enclosed is an Application for Radio Station Authorization, FCC Form 400,
completed in a manner that will provide the type of radio service required by the
Chrysler Race Group. Assistance in application preparation was provided by the
local General Electric Representative who in turn coordinated the radio system
requirements with the Frequency Coordinator in Washington, D.C.

If a statement pertaining to cost sharing (Item 15, Statement of Eligibility)
has been previously prepared and submitted on another application - submit a
duplicate statement with this application. If no such statement exists it is suggested
that none may be needed at this time.

Enclosed, also, is a functional block diagram of the Chrysler Race Group's
Radio Communication System. The system, as illustrated, is designed to assure
maximum driver safety and a reasonable level of industrial security within the
constraints of cost, functional reliability, and the present state-of-the-art. The
system is also designed for maximum equipment interchangeability and expansion
with only hardware additions.

Due to the accelerated Race Group schedule and extended equipment procure­
ment, any assistance to expedite acquiring a Business Radio License would be more
than appreciated.
