                          b. Continue second priority build-up of test car 046 for automatic
           transmission testing. No transmissions have been received for the test vehicle
           to date.


                   2.     Instrumentation and Electronics Support                                '

                          a.    Test Support


                                The Daytona test vehicle will be instrumented and data recorded
            and reduced from Atlanta track testing,

                                Talladega track tests will also be supported with required
            instrumentation.

                                A Trans Am vehicle test will be supported at Riverside
            March 9-23, 1970.

                                Development efforts will continue on a complete printed circuit
            board signal conditioning and power supply system,


                           b.   Communication System

                                The existing pit-to-driver       communication s           m will follow
            Bake 4   0)  vehicle to the Rockingham 500 and       Atlanta 500 races for continued         2  c n
            and developinental testing.

                                The small, lightweight 450 MC hand-portable radio units will
            be tested for use in race vehicles to replace heavier units, depending on availability
            of units presently on loan from GE,

                    3. Mobile Control Cente


                           The center will be used to support and score the Rockingham 500 race
            and Atlanta test activities.

                           Following the Atlanta test the center will return to Huntsville              o

            modifications of compute           ystem and mechanical improvements for more reliable,
            efficient operation.
