                     evaluations of the data indicate that corrections applied to the Wichita
                     7 x 10 ft data for blockage were valid with excellent agreement of the

                     drag data between the two tunnels being obtained. The 3/8-scale Dodg  0
                     Charger was also installed and similar results obtained.


                     Drafting studies utilizing the 3/8-scale car were begun on October 17,
                     1968. At the Wichita facility, data was obtained only for the leading car
                     in a drafting situation. At Lockheed, forces were measured on the
                     trailing car. Some very interesting results were obtained but must
                     await detailed analysis for conclusions to be reached.


                     Full-scale tests utilizing a race vehicle (Dodge Cha             O T Q    (D  were begun
                     on October 21, 1968. These tests were intended to              verify the 3/8-scale
                     results and to correlate with track and proving ground data. Again,
                     cursory examination of the data shows good agreement with previous
                     test data. A second car was placed in the tunnel trailing the Charger on
                     October 23, 1968 to verify the 3/8-scale drafting results. No data are
                     available as yet on these results.


                     The tests were completed on October 23, 1968.
