                                                        Q

This memo is a confirmation of our recent phone conversation and meeting on
expanded ’’F” Series wind tunnel testing. It was agreed that wind tunnel
work would be conducted on an ”F” Series Plymouth with a ”drooped-nosen
similar to the recently tested ”F” Charger. The tunnel studies would also
include brief wrap-up tests on the ”F’! Charger front ends. In addition, a
non-tunnel study would be made to determine an optimum hood scoop configura
                 tion.

Because of our present man-power situation and heavy overtime schedule, we
will handle this recent input by means of an IPA with Chrysler Huntsville
Operations. Our expenses for the latest program break down as follows:

                              Chrysler Huntsville via IPA 11,500
                             Material Charges for Model 2,^00
                             Tunnel Fees and Miscellaneous
                              Charges 6,000
                                                                             4? 20,000

We show no increased effort on our own part since the hours necessary for us
to maintain liaison on this program are being obtained through transfer of
some of our originally accepted nFn Series Charger responsibilities to Hunts
ville. These latter are included in the $ll,5>00 figure, above. It is our
understanding that the required funds are available in the Product Planning
Office Budget and that we are to continue to charge to CWO 60hl59 as with the
                 previous programs.

Attached is Q J schedule showing the latest timing on the ”Fn and ”0” programs,
Because of the latest inputs, it is necessary to delay the c + t of the "G"
                 program.
