5. Safety

Tie Down - Provision should be made to tie down the test car during
all tpst runs. , Chains are not desired. Check the method used in
the Harrison Wind Tunnel in Buffalo, New York.

Fire Equipment - A Cardox System is needed in case of fire*

Escape For Operator - Suitable escape from the tunnel and control panel
area should be provided for all personnel.

Water Supply - For various tests.

Floor Drain - To empty cooling system. ~ /
Panic Button - A panic button should be provided to shut down the
entire tunnel and test car.

Control Panel A/C - Air conditioning should be supplied in the Control
Panel.

Equipment - Suitable safety devices to protect the instrumentation.

Exhaust System - Provide for dual and single car exhaust. Atmospheric
conditions should exist at the tailpipes.
