1. Test Operations

The Plymouth test car will be prepared for road course testing tentatively
scheduled for late June.

The automatic transmission will be in tailed for durability testing.

Other systems which may be installed for evaluation testing include:

Driver seat suspension C O C O e
Fire extinguishing system
.. Vehicle insulation plus fire resistant paint
Disc brake package

2• Instrumentation and Electronics Support

a. Grand National Cars

The Plymouth automatic transmission tests will be supported with the
following tentative measurements list:

Engine BPM
Acceleration lateral and longitudinal
Brake temperatures
Steering wheel position
Yaw
Transmission cooler inlet and outlet temperatures
Engine water temperatur O

b. Drag Cars

A drag car test is tentatively scheduled for late June at Detroit
Dragway. No definite measurement list has been established for this test but it is
expected to include:

Engine speed
Front wheel speed
Propellor shaft speed or axle speed
Acceleration (longitudinal)
