OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

                   note:

Inform each driver of proper weight adjustment essential for a good ride.
After installing the seat, the following comfort adjustments
can be made to insure perfect performance:

                                        I Fore and
                                             Aft Seat
                                Adjustment CAI I
                                   Seat assembly moves forward or
back 4" along ball bearing slides to suit
                                      short- or long-legged drivers.

                                        Back Angle
                                Adjustment CBJ
Back-rest angle has three positions to
                       accommodate driver’s preference and comfort.

                    3 Adjuster Lever CCJ

                                This hand-operated lever controls a
ratchet mechanism which adjusts the torsion
bar to the driver’s weight — from 130 to
275 pounds. Proper adjustment will position
the seat and driver midway in the
                               suspension, thus limiting topping and
                                   bottoming. Proper adjustment is
                                                 indicated by the

                                   The indicator, located inside the
                                left frame upright (see illustration),
                                                                                             CORRECT

that the seat is properly adjusted
for the driver’s weight. If there
is too much preload, the indicator
will be forward of the upright
                                   (Fig. 1). If insufficient preload,
it will remain behind (Fig. 2).
Adjust preload (step 3 above) with
driver in seat until indicator is
                                          even with edge (Fig. 3).
